Success

The Dickens evening, was, as predicted, entertaining and enlightening; after these events I am almost ready to attempt to read Dickens again. Well Done to Lloyd and his team.
Interestingly, the next evening we travelled to Bristol for a fascinating recital by the well-known concert pianist Lucy Parham in which she was joined by the actors Joanna David and Henry Goodman (currently getting fine reviews for his role in "Fiddler on the Roof" in London )in which extracts from letters and diaries of Franz Liszt and his family, mistresses and others are interspersed with his music. Another entertaining and enlightening evening; what was particularly interesting to observe was that, as a proportion of seats available, Lloyd played to a fuller house than those luminaries !

Don't forget the A G M which unfortunately falls on Burns Night; Skean Dhus must be left at the Door.

I don't have one. Can I leave a cheese knife at the door instead?
